Listed on Bursa Securities, IGB has a market capitalisation of approximately RM3.427 billion, as of 31 December 2012. In its latest financial year ended 31 December 2012, IGB group generated revenue of approximately RM994 million, with a total asset base of approximately RM7.114 billion.

IGB has a track record of developing and operating retail malls as well as properties in other asset classes such as office properties, residential properties and hotels. In 2012, for the tenth consecutive year, IGB was among The Edge's Top Ten Property Developers Awards recipients. In addition, some of IGB's noteworthy residential projects include Seri Ampang Hilir Condominium, Garden Manor Sierramas, Hampshire Place Residences, Laman Sierramas West, Cendana and One Jelatek.

Investment Policy
IGB REIT is a REIT established with the principal investment policy of investing, directly and indirectly, in a diversified portfolio of income producing real estate used primarily for retail purposes including retail properties and mixed-used developments with a retail component in Malaysia and overseas as well as real estate-related assets.

Investment Objective
The Manager’s key objective of IGBREIT is to provide unitholders with regular and stable distributions, sustainable long term unit price, and distributable income and capital growth, while maintaining an appropriate capital structure.


The Retail Properties are established destination malls of Mid Valley City and target different market segments of shoppers :

  • Mid Valley Megamall is positioned as a one-stop mall serving as a family, tourist and lifestyle destination for local and out-of-state residents
  • The Gardens Mall is positioned as a premium fashion mall focused on the higher income, domestic, expatriate and international tourist customer segments. Luxury brands at The Gardens Mall include Louis Vuitton, Mulberry, Tods, BOSS Hugo Boss, and Versace Collection.
